...speaking of Grilla, next saturday, the Island Riddims launch will be held there. I was hoping you guys could come this time. the place is four times bigger than bistro so i'm hoping it'll be better for you guys. but since wala si leo, i guess that's it. hehehe next time.

i went from busted (by emong) to brimming... last saturday, i met a freelance journalist/ filmmaker/ poet. he's quite the dork, like steve from sex and the city. we kind of hit it off conversation-wise and in terms of taste. he took my number (seemed very businesslike at first) but as the evening progressed he became more and more gentlemanly, offering me a seat, making sure i have a place to stand in the crowded bar, talking to me about things that are clearly not related to the launch or to work (my family and my tan, among other things). he invited me to a goth gig next saturday but as i said, i have the second launch to worry about. we had a lengthy conversation sms conversation yesterday. and asked me again to go to the goth gig, as his "plus one" - no kidding, he used those words. i'm not sure though because may just gave me an offer i don't think i can resist...

an acting stint in a film where i have to kiss one of our most handsome friends! p.s. he told may that he thinks i'm pretty too. he's still a bum, i think, but he's socially well-adjusted, unlike many of his friends. we might shoot this weekend. mints na 'to!!

as with everything, bawi-bawian lang. what the poet lacks in looks, he makes up for in talent (and take note, that is a very bad shot. he did not look like that when i met him). what the "model" lacks in achievement, he makes up for with his looks.

ah, how foolish for me to be impatient!
